Terminal Installation

  • Align and orient the terminal with the connector cavity.

  • Insert the terminal into the proper connector cavity.  The terminal locking tang will usually click when it is seated properly.

  • Inspect the terminal/connector assembly for proper seating by tugging on the wire to insure it does not back out of the cavity.

  • Install the TPA clip.
