Terminal Removal

  • Remove the TPA clip.

  • Inspect the connector for a lock canal near the terminal to be removed.  

  • Pick a terminal removal tool that will fit into the lock canal.  The tool should fill up the lock canal, if it does not, damage to the tool can result.

  • Insert the terminal removal tool into the lock canal and remove the terminal from the connector.

  • Bend the terminal lock tab back out for reinstallation into the connector.
