Feel the Fear
Stress Management Course Files
Richard Bach (author of Jonathon Livingston Seagull) said, in his wonderful book Running From Safety:
Lean into your fears, dare them to do their worst and cut them down when they try. If you don’t they’ll mushroom till they surround you, choke the road to the life you want. Every turn you fear is empty air, dressed to look like jagged hell.
After reading the chapter on managing your emotions, you have learned a lot about fear. We only get better at handling our fears by leaning directly into them and seeing what gifts they hold in store for us. This activity involves discovering what happens when we do this.
