Welcome to Lesson Seven!
This week we focus on our emotions. Specifically, our main focus will be on fear, with some emphasis on the emotions of anger, worry and guilt. These are probably the most debilitating emotions we have. They also have much in common with stress.
There are two components to this week's focus on emotions. The first follows our chapter on managing emotions - Chapter 8 of the textbook.
Coupled with this assignment will be an awesome activity designed to help you look at fear straight in the face ... and overcome it!
We will also get to enjoy another fun little deep relaxation exercise called Progressive Relaxation. Background information for Progressive Relaxation is found in chapter 19 of your text.
